Our Activities
The main aim of mercycorps is to provide a secure home for the destitute and the downtrodden to live out the rest of their lives. Mercycorps takes in its fold both men and women in dire need of care and affection. The old, the infirm, persons unable to earn their daily bread even by begging on the streets, people thrown out of their homes for no fault of theirs: these are the types of inmates that mercycorps houses with in its four walls. Mercycorps meets their every needs including their food, clothing, medicines and most of all it instils in their minds a feeling that they are not unwanted in society and that there is somebody to look after them, showering them with love and affection and every thing they need at the fag end of their lives.
Health
- Health awareness programs regarding the drug abuses and alcoholism among the tribal communities
- Supply of medicines to the remote tribal colonies
Economic Empowerment
- Providing shelter for the aged people, women and children
- Providing employment through self employment system
- To make avail the Govt. schemes to rural peoples
